Psychology always interested me, but going back to school at 50?? It was a daunting proposition, as my study skills were a little rusty, but the professors and staff at Phillips made us, "the older returning students," feel so comfortable.

Getting my master's degree was made smoother by small class sizes and the intimate availability of professors, counselors and our librarian. The teaching staff gave me everything I need to succeed.

Internships are leading me towards working with people dealing with long term care issues. I was exposed to many areas of psychology, but by the time I finished my education, I found my niche! I love working with couples finding satisfying ways of engaging in life in the later years.

Phillips Graduate University's strong commitment to diversity was one of the reasons I entered its psychology and marriage and family therapist programs.

Getting ready to start my second year, I feel it's a privilege to be nurtured by a faculty that not only talks about issues of diversity but also consistently models how a person can honor, encourage and embrace the needs of a variety of people who are working toward common goals.

I am grateful to be part of the open, caring challenging environment Phillips Graduate University provides.

After 11 years of consulting practice with large corporate clients, I found both my clients and the field of organizational development changing. The Phillips Graduate University Organizational Management Consulting doctoral program provided me with the theoretical and practical application of knowledge that I was looking for to update my consulting practice. It was worth both the time and financial investment.

As a graduate of the Psy.D Organizational Management & Consulting Program at Phillips Graduate University, I can attest to the quality of the program and its faculty. Because of the program’s flexibility, I was able to pursue my passion for small business dynamics in a customized fashion. The faculty not only provided the support I needed but also brought real life experience to the classroom and the text material to life. This program influenced me in ways that I never in my career experienced thus far. I recommend this program to anyone interested in pursuing the consulting field!
